Clearwater, FL \u2013 January 30, 2019 –<\/strong> McCormick Stevenson Corporation of Clearwater, Florida is celebrating 20 years of success delivering mechanically rugged solutions for Aerospace, Defense and Homeland Security. Over the last two decades McCormick Stevenson has grown from the dynamic duo of Melissa and Noel McCormick to a 39-person team with continued growth planned for 2019.<\/p>\n

January was a month of milestones. In addition to reaching their 20th<\/sup> anniversary and welcoming new team members, McCormick Stevenson also negotiated the largest contract in its history.<\/p>\n

Melissa McCormick, Chairman and CEO commented: \u201cWow 20 years! The company is led by the original founding team members of Melissa and Noel, along with Paul Stevenson, who is now Executive Vice President. Paul, who has over 30 years of defense industry expertise, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a tribute to our staff that we\u2019ve reached this 20-year milestone of providing engineering services. I\u2019m confident our next 20 years will yield additional growth and increasing value to the defense community and the U.S. warfighter.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to providing mechanical engineering services to prime contractors, McCormick Stevenson is actively involved with numerous industry organizations and affiliated partners. The team also works with engineering students and recent graduates through the University of South Florida\u2019s Engineering College and the Tampa Bay Engineering Internship Alliance (TBEIA). In addition, McCormick Stevenson is a founding and active member of the Florida Defense Contractors Association (FDCA).<\/p>\n
