How do I know your consultants understand the needs of my business?

MarketingDirection.com consultants are senior-level marketing executives with a minimum of 15 years experience, some of which have run their own businesses. The consultant selected for your placement will be the best fit based on your company’s industry, needs and focus.

Can I interview my consultant before we make a decision?

Absolutely. We want you to be comfortable with your consultant since he or she will become a key part of your executive team.

What do you charge?

We charge about 40% less than what marketing agencies typically charge. Your monthly investment is determined by how many days a week your MarketingDirection.com consultant will be working for you. Keep in mind that you do not pay for health benefits, 401k, paid holidays, etc. for your consultant which can be a savings of 30 to 40% over an employee’s salary.

How often will my consultant work at our location?

Your MarketingDirection.com consultant will work eight hours a week at your location to continue to learn more about your company’s operations, culture, sales process, etc. in order to truly understand your business. This allows your consultant to make marketing recommendations that are best for your company’s needs instead of a templated strategy based on one or two meetings. The rest of the time, your consultant works off-site.

Do I need to provide an office or cubicle for my consultant?

Not at all. Our consultants can work in your conference room, a spare desk, a salesperson’s office who is out of town, etc. MarketingDirection.com consultants also travel with their own laptop, so you do not need to provide a computer station.

We have a marketing coordinator in place. Will our consultant be able to manage her daily activities?

Absolutely. Your MarketingDirection.com consultant can oversee your marketing coordinator or manager and hold them accountable for action items assigned to them.

Can I use my own vendors?

Certainly. If you have a vendor such as a graphic designer that you like working with, we are happy to work with that designer. Since we have established relationships with vendors of all types, we’ll give you competitive estimates so you can compare and select what’s best for your company’s needs and budget.

Am I responsible for paying for payroll taxes, health benefits, sick days, etc. for my consultant?

No. Your consultant acts as an independent contractor so you are not responsible for paying employee benefits.
